Join Our Team as a Diesel Technician at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions

We are immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Senior Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Winter Haven, Florida. Hear from our technicians: Watch here.

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $29.00 per hour
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE certification, up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 four times per year
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, weekends OFF
• Hours: 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm (Second Shift)

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Vocational or technical certifications (preferred)
• Basic tools required
• At least 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty vehicle repairs and diagnostics
• Valid CDL Class A (preferred)
• Must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Ability to pass Ryder's drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks

Responsibilities

• Vehicle maintenance including preventive and diagnostic repairs
• Facility maintenance and customer interaction
• Use of diagnostic tools and documentation systems
• Mentoring junior technicians
