Utilize expertise in diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Diesel and CNG vehicles to maintain GFL’s fleet in safe and road-ready condition. Our employees, known as team green, share a purpose of providing sustainable solutions for our communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair Diesel and CNG trucks, including engines, electrical, propane, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
  • Lead inspections of brake systems, engine components, emission systems, steering, and wheel bearings.
  • Mentor level B and C mechanics.
  • Prioritize repairs and oversee repair schedules.
  • Perform DOT and brake inspections.
  • Complete reports, work orders, and order parts.
  • Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of DOT, OSHA regulations; ASE certifications preferred.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and manuals.
  • Experience with diagnostic software and computer literacy.
  • Effective communication skills.
Physical/Mental Demands:
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds.
