Job description

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business in Tulsa, OK.

$5000 Sign on Bonus!!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  1. Complete troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on engine products and other customer equipment in a service shop.
  2. Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines, including utilizing computers/software in the process of diagnostic work.
  3. Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
  4. Complete required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  5. Ongoing training and additional certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
  6. Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues/incidents to your supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role the following is preferred:

  1. Technician Level I: Limited relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on a minimal number of products in-scope for a diesel technician at this location; primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics; requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

A CDL and passenger endorsement is not required, but would be very useful.

DOT

  1. A current valid license is required for this role.
  2. Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience.
  3. This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.
  4. This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This role will be subject to ongoing random drug and alcohol testing.
