Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers to keep their travels on track.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with roadside services. Candidates should be able to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures; DOT medical card may be obtained and is paid by Love’s.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
