Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Guthrie, OK is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance to keep trucks moving safely. You will work a rotating day/night schedule, lift 75+ pounds, and must comply with safety policies; Love's provides tuition assistance, 401(k) match, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures
• Always follow safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair light mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment.
• Assist customers with roadside services and support.
• Provide routine preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Maintain strict safety compliance and company policies.
• Work in a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Assist in obtaining DOT medical card as required.
