Job summary

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is seeking Diesel Technicians to service and repair equipment across On Highway, Construction and Agriculture lines.

Field technicians will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs, including hydraulics, electrical, pneumatic, and transmissions. Candidates should have a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of hydraulic, track, undercarriage, and fuel systems, and a strong diagnostic mindset.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems and components, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems.
• Experience on Volvo equipment is a plus.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Positive attitude and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Carry out repairs and more complex repairs to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot and analyze issues reported by drivers or operators and provide solutions.
• Respond promptly to customer needs to ensure value for work performed.
• Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
• Complete service reports, order parts and maintain clear customer records.
• Field Technicians will be going out to service calls.

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment, along with being the Servicing Dealer for multiple other product lines that support the On Highway, Construction and Agriculture Industry.

Due to growth, we are currently looking to hire Diesel Technicians.

Technicians must be able to:

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, including but not limited to machinery, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems;
• Carrying out necessary repairs and conducting more complex repairs to ensure proper functioning;
• Troubleshooting and analyzing issues reported by drivers or operators, and providing effect solutions to address the problems;
• Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed;
• Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed;
• Complete service reports, order parts and maintain clear customer records;
• Field Technicians will be going out to service calls.

Requirements

• Two year technical degree and/or equivalent job experience in any of the above fields.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems and components, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems.
• Previous experience working on Volvo equipment is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills.
• Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service.
• Computer, written and verbal communication skills.
