Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to join our team in Texas. You will diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers & drivers, and perform preventative maintenance to keep fleets and travelers on the road.

You should be able to lift 75 pounds, work in varying temperatures, follow safety policies, and rotate between day and night shifts. DOT medical card is issued/paid by Love’s, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine componentsAssist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
