Work Environment & Hours

Heavy Duty Shop

Hours of work: 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (operating hours), 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Shifts may vary.

Position Overview

We're hiring Diesel Technicians! Join our Nextran team to keep big rigs running strong. Your responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Conducting repairs, from minor fixes to major overhauls
• Disassembling and reassembling components
• Writing detailed service notes

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel engines or commercial trucks
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Must have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license with a good record (CDL preferred), 2-3 years related experience or training, and basic computer skills. Other duties as assigned.
