Love's Travel Stops in Hampshire Township, IL is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, assist travelers, and perform preventative maintenance. You will work on light mechanical issues and interact with customers and drivers from across the country.

This role requires physical work, rotating day/night shifts, and the ability to lift 75+ pounds; Love’s provides tuition assistance, health benefits, and growth opportunities within a family-owned company

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in varying temperatures
• Always prioritize safety and customer satisfaction while following Love’s safety policies
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
