Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers to keep vehicles on the road. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, perform maintenance, and support roadside services while upholding safety standards and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters and varying temperatures
• Provide preventative maintenance services and assist customers with roadside services

Responsibilities

• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and in varying temperatures
• Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain a professional demeanor
• Work a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts
• Possess a DOT medical card with Love’s support when needed

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
