Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment at our locations. You will engage with customers and drivers, performing preventative maintenance while ensuring safety and efficiency. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and flexibility for day/night shifts, with comprehensive benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Rotating day/night schedule may be required.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
