Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics and other heavy‑duty systems on emergency vehicles.
• Perform vehicle maintenance including tire service, shocks/struts, wheel alignments and electrical diagnostics.
• Use schematics and manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Fabricate or modify parts with tools and welding equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and document all repairs in service records.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate would have 3+ years under their belt working in a professional diesel repair business. This role offers the opportunity to work on specialized emergency vehicles, perform critical repairs, and develop your skills through ongoing training. This position is based in Congers, NY. We welcome candidates from Hackensack and the surrounding areas willing to commute to our Congers location. Reliable transportation is required.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and other heavy‑duty systems on emergency vehicles
