Job summary

Selking International is seeking a Diesel Technician for our Fort Wayne, IN shop. You will diagnose and repair Class 8 trucks, perform PMs and DOT inspections, and use OEM software to troubleshoot faults quickly for customers.

You will mentor newer technicians and help grow our next generation, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a well‑run shop environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a diesel technician in a dealership, fleet, or independent shop.
• Ability to diagnose independently and see a repair through to completion.
• Valid driver's license (CDL A a plus, not required).
• Your own hand tools — we supply the specialty and diagnostic equipment.
• ASE and/or OEM certifications welcome; we'll pay to advance them.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Class 8 trucks and equipment — engine, aftertreatment, electrical, drivetrain, HVAC, brakes
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
• Use OEM diagnostic software to troubleshoot and resolve faults efficiently
• Document repairs accurately and communicate clearly with service advisors and customers
• Mentor newer technicians and help build the next generation of our shop
• Keep your bay and the shop clean, organized, and safe

Schedule:Full time, 40 hours/week
Pay: ForQualified Technicians up to $50 / hour

Signing Bonus: Up to $5,000
