Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and working in varying temps while upholding safety standards.

Join a fast-paced team in a customer-focused environment. Training and benefits accompany a rotating day/night schedule and company-paid DOT medical certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move, lift 75+ pounds and work in temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule.
• Obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
