Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy and light vehicles at our Texas locations. You will assist drivers with roadside services, ensuring safe, reliable operations in a fast-paced setting.

Role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, working in variable temperatures, and adherence to DOT medical card requirements. Training and growth opportunities available within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment.
• Assist customers with roadside services as needed.
• Provide preventative maintenance services to keep equipment in good condition.
• Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds, including working in close quarters.
• Maintain safety and quality by following company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Always put safety and customer satisfaction first, following safety policies.

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
