Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking skilled Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical systems for a fast-paced environment. You will assist customers and drivers, perform preventative maintenance, and work rotating day/night shifts as required.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Lift/move up to 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies.

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
