Job summary

Yankee Line, located in Elizabeth, New Jersey, seeks a skilled Bus/Motorcoach Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of over 100 motorcoaches and transit buses. Candidates must have maintenance experience, their own tools, and be able to adhere to FMCSA requirements. This role includes preventative maintenance duties and requires a flexible schedule including days, nights, and occasional weekends. Benefits are provided for full-time employees and pay is commensurate with experience.

• Maintain and repair a fleet of over 100 motorcoaches and transit buses.
• Duties include preventative maintenance on tires, brakes, suspensions, electrical, HVAC, and engine repair.

Qualifications

• Bus/motorcoach maintenance and repair experience required.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to meet FMCSA requirements (including CDL, medical card, pre-employment, and random drug & alcohol testing).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a fleet of over 100 motorcoaches and transit buses (Setra, Temsa, MCI, Irizar, Gillig, New Flyers).
• Duties include preventative maintenance. (tires, brakes, suspensions, electrical, HVAC, and engine repair)
