Job summary

Freightliner of Hartford is seeking Diesel Technicians with a minimum of three years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks. You should have a solid understanding of heavy-duty truck systems, diesel engines, and after-treatment devices. We provide on-the-job factory training and a supportive team environment.

Description

Freightliner of Hartford is looking for Diesel Technicians with a minimum of three years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks. You need to have a general understanding of heavy duty truck systems along with an understanding about diesel engines and after-treatment devices. We are a certified training location for Freightliner and offer on the job factory training. We offer a great working envirnment and we are always looking for suggestions on how to improve our business. We have a monthly incentive program for our techs that could put an additional $1,000 per month in your pocket. We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance with an HSA and HRA, 401k with a 10% match, long term disability insurance is available, Paid-Time-Off, Holiday Pay, and uniforms. Pay is based on experience and knowledge. Pay $25-$45 per hour.

Position Requirements

You need to have your own tools and be able to move trucks around in the parking lot along with pulling trucks into the repair bay. CDL is not a requirement, but it certainly is beneficial.
