VALLEY FREIGHTLINER OF TOLEDO INC is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks at our modern service facility. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and deliver high-quality workmanship that meets Freightliner standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of heavy-duty diesel repair experience (Freightliner experience preferred).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using OEM diagnostic software and scan tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
• ASE and/or OEM certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, electrical systems, and emissions/aftertreatment systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance services according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs in compliance with Freightliner standards.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and recommend additional repairs when necessary.
