Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops seeks Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues on a fast-paced site environment. You’ll assist customers and drivers, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and satisfaction per company policies.

Responsibilities include rotating day/night shifts, lifting 75+ pounds, and obtaining a DOT medical card (Love’s pays for it). Join a culture recognized for growth, development, and equal opportunity employment.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance.

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
