Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and provide preventative maintenance. You must move up to 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures while following safety policies.

A rotating schedule between day and night is required, with potential DOT medical card eligibility paid by Love’s. Join a nationwide network known for fueling drivers’ journeys and delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic diesel mechanical troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to interact with customers and drivers professionally.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule between day and night.

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components

• Assist customers with roadside services

• Provide preventative maintenance services

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.

• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.

• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.

• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
