Position:

Diesel Technician

Location:

Compensation:

Between $50,000 and $125,000 annually, based on knowledge, experience, store franchise, and volume.

Schedule:

Full Time with a flexible schedule—No Sundays!

Diesel Technician Job Duties:

• Perform repairs on trucks and check them for additional needed repairs.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Follow training schedules to stay current with technology.
• Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Assess vehicles for safety or additional service needs.
• Coordinate with parts department for needed parts.
• Communicate with service advisors regarding additional work.
• Document all work performed and recommended.
• Road test vehicles as required.
• Stay updated on manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Maintain cleanliness of the customer’s vehicle and work area.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.

Requirements:

• Must have your own tools.
• Valid NYS Inspector’s License required.
• Valid Driver’s License required for all positions.
