Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $32.43 per hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 paid in two parts: $1250 after 30 days, and $1250 after 90 days
• Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 four times per year
• Tool Box/Tool Allowance
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Weekends OFF
• Hours: Second Shift 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification, Post Secondary degree, or Technical Certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine maintenance
• Two or more years of classroom training and work experience preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder Drug Test, DOT physical, road test, background, and motor vehicle check

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Conduct standard component inspections and repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics
• Identify root causes of failures and perform repairs
• Interact with customers/drivers regarding vehicle issues
• Utilize shop management and electronic documentation systems
• Comply with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Support operations as needed, including support duties on the service island
