Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance at our Ohio locations. You’ll interact with customers and drivers, ensuring safety and satisfaction while upholding company standards.

You’ll move and lift heavy items, work in varying temperatures, and may rotate between day and night shifts. DOT med card eligibility is supported by Love’s.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end, electrical, suspensions, A/C, engine components)
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds and work in varied temperatures
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Rotating day/night schedule
• Obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love’s)

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
