Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Morningside, TN is seeking Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair heavy vehicle systems in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with drivers, perform preventative maintenance, and support roadside services while upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills for interacting with drivers and customers.
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge applicable to diesel vehicles.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles.
• Experience with diagnosing common truck systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
