Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to join their team in Dupont, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, mechanical experience, and personal investment in necessary tools.

We offer a competitive pay range of $17.00 - $20.40 per hour along with great benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) matching, and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Graduate of acceptable trade school or manufacturer's technical school, or previous mechanic experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised and flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results; develop a repair plan.
• Repair malfunctioning parts and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
