Peterson Cat in North Bend, OR is seeking an experienced Shop Technician to perform service activities in the main shop for customer and sales or rental fleet equipment.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Diesel Technology and a minimum of three years of related heavy equipment service experience, with strong diagnostic abilities and a commitment to safe, quality work.

Qualificações

• Associates Degree in Diesel Technology from an accredited college or technical/vocational school, and 3 years of related heavy equipment service experience.
• Background check and drug screen are required; Peterson Cat is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies, and rules.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Pre-delivery setup and installation on Caterpillar equipment.
• Repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and related systems.
• Write service reports and prepare work orders, parts lists, and timecards.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure quality work and document failure information.
