Job summary

Liberty Waste Solutions in Fayetteville is seeking an experienced Diesel Shop Supervisor to support daily maintenance operations, uphold safety, environmental compliance, and customer service.

You will diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment, manage parts inventory, and mentor mechanics to maintain high performance. Day shift with occasional weekend work; requires five+ years of relevant experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Five years or more relevant work experience.
• Advanced analytical and repair skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Demonstrate ability to coach/mentor/influence others.
• Able to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, bodies, and other heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Repair company equipment in shop and on-road service.
• Use electronic tools to identify malfunctions.
• Welding and fabrication.
• Manage SOP workflow.
• Order and inventory all parts and tires.
• Responsible for maintenance software.
• Able to mentor and manage one to two level B & C mechanics.
