Dynamic Equipment Group is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Shop Mechanic in Lakeland, FL to own basic to intermediate repairs and diagnostics, with field exposure and mentoring opportunities. You will manage warranty documentation and ensure fleet uptime while maintaining a clean, safety-focused work environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of hands-on mechanic experience or recent tech school graduation, plus own tools and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on mechanic experience or recent graduation from a tech/vocational program.
• Must own standard mechanic toolset.
• Strong knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
• Proficient in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Able to use diagnostic tools and service software.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnosis, repair, preventive maintenance, and reconditioning of heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues in shop and field.
• Ensure equipment is rental-ready and fully operational.
• Complete all required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate estimated repair times to supervisors.
• Track and follow up on parts orders for assigned jobs.
• Maintain and inspect tools per OSHA safety standards.
• Report unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to management.
