Job summary

L&L Site Services, Inc. in Montana is seeking a Diesel Shop Mechanic to maintain a 45-truck fleet and heavy equipment. You will perform daily maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, oil changes, wiring, brakes, and hydraulics while ensuring DOT safety compliance and clear communication with drivers and dispatchers. CDL is a plus but not required.

Work alongside the Shop Manager; some after-hours or weekend work may be required to keep the fleet running.

Qualifications

• Experience with medium/heavy truck maintenance.
• CDL license is a plus but not required.

Diesel Shop Mechanic

L&L Site Services is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable mechanic. Qualified applicants must have medium/ heavy truck mechanic experience. A CDL license is a plus, but not required. Currently we have approximately 45 trucks plus trailers on the road. We also have heavy equipment that would need to be maintained. Our fleet includes Kenworth, Freightliner and Peterbilt.

Duties would include:

• Daily maintenance of truck fleet
• Diagnostics of truck issues
• repairs of trucks
• Oil Changes
• Wiring
• Brakes
• Hydraulics
• Ensuring that all trucks are running and up to all Federal and State DOT Safety Requirements
• Communicating with drivers and dispatchers about trucks

Applicant would work side by side with our Shop Manager. Pay is DOE. This is a full-time position and may require after hours/weekend work to ensure that the fleet is running.
