Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet Journeyman Diesel Mechanic 4 requirements and lead a small crew.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with NAVSEA Standard Items and OSHA standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a small crew and lead the job from start to finish via work specifications and EPCP/PCP/CWP.
• Read tech manuals and drawings; perform alignment checks using a dial indicator and other precision tools.
