Job summary

Butler Machinery in Rapid City is hiring a Full-Time Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for construction and agricultural equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and be committed to exemplary customer service.

Full‑Time Technician Pay Scale: $32.73/hr-$53.03/hr, ($2.00/hour shift differential)

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 1:30 pm-12:00 am (Four 10 hour days)

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on construction, agriculture, or power generation systems.
• Troubleshooting capabilities within all diesel technology systems and componentry. For example: Hydraulics, electrical, power trains, etc.
• Opportunity for overtime as workload dictates (anything over 10 hours a day is paid at 1.5x your hourly rate)
• Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Work independently and as part of a high performing team.

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
