A leading transportation company is seeking a Level III Technician responsible for a wide range of maintenance services on company vehicles. The role includes conducting preventative maintenance, performing repairs, and ensuring all work is documented. Candidates should have experience as diesel mechanics and accreditation from a relevant program.
Location: Mid-City Transit, Middletown NY
Hours: 40 Hours (Opportunity for overtime)
Pay Range: $26-28 Depending on experience.
Job Description: Technician Level III
As a Level III Technician, with general direction from the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be providing a wide range of maintenance services on company automotive vehicles including buses, vans and service vehicles. This is our entry service position that requires completing PMI service procedures as outlined in our maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The scope of this position will be consistent with preventive maintenance procedures and minor defect repairs found during services or reported through driver vehicle inspections.

Qualifications:
2+ year(s) experience as diesel mechanic or mechanic preferred.
Accreditation from a school or certification program preferred.
Complete all training requirements.
