United Rentals is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) to perform maintenance and repairs on a range of complex rental equipment in a safe, professional manner. You’ll contribute to high-quality service, support training of junior technicians, and ensure complete documentation of all work performed daily.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge of engines.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Safe maintenance and repair of complex rental equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel).
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain work orders and documentation daily.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance as needed; keep service vehicle clean.
• Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
