Murphy-Hoffman Company in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic to perform light maintenance under supervision and to assist in heavy-duty truck repair. This entry-level role provides first-stage training for Service Technician status.

This safety-sensitive position emphasizes proper tool handling, adherence to safety protocols, and on-the-job learning within a large Kenworth dealership network.

Qualifications

• Performs maintenance type work (i.e. preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
• Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
