Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a Diesel Service Apprentice/Mechanic in Texas to perform light maintenance under supervision and assist in heavy-duty truck repair. You will attend training sessions to gain knowledge, maintain a clean workspace, and carry out duties as assigned by a supervisor.

This safety-sensitive position emphasizes on-the-job training and progressive status toward Service Technician certification within a leading Kenworth truck dealership group.

Qualifications

• Performs maintenance type work (i.e. preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
• Assists Service Technician in heavy-duty truck repair.
• Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
