Chaney Enterprises in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a skilled Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of automotive and stationary equipment, including trucks, heavy machinery, hydraulics, air compressors, and welding gear. You will ensure peak performance and respond to road calls as needed.

The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, frequent exposure to a welding shop environment, strict safety compliance, and accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles and stationary equipment.
• Ability to supervise a Mechanic's Helper.
• Comfort with completing maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ability to work in a shop environment with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Join our team as a skilled Mechanic responsible for keeping our fleet and equipment running at peak performance. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of automotive and stationary equipment — including trucks, tractor-trailers, heavy equipment, hydraulic systems, air compressors, and welding equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and stationary equipment to company standards

• Supervise and guide a Mechanic's Helper
• Conduct required inspections and complete all maintenance documentation accurately
