Job summary

A fast-growing logistics company in South Carolina seeks an experienced Mechanic to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various machines and trucks, including heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and a strong mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, onsite repairs, and operating heavy equipment. A high school diploma is required, and a CDL is preferred but not necessary at hire.

Qualifications

• Preferred 5+ years of experience as a Service Technician or similar position.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate service and technical information.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Change truck tires, oil, maintenance on brakes, and change brakes.
• Visit dirt pit locations for onsite repairs.
