Job Details

• Weekly pay for Diesel Tech Trainee Positions
• Hourly pay: $19.50
• Schedule: Sunday–Thursday
• First shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Up to 1 year mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Proficient in English communication
• Customer service skills
• Technical aptitude for learning equipment and machinery
• Ability to troubleshoot, work independently and in teams, and represent Ryder professionally
• Good time management and attendance
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with shop management systems preferred
• Valid CDL Class A preferred; must obtain within 6 months

Regulated Tech Requirements

• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check

Responsibilities

• Move, wash, fuel, and detail vehicles safely and efficiently
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues
• Maintain fuel island and perform minor facility maintenance
• Complete all training program requirements
