Job summary

cretecarriercorp is seeking a skilled technician to inspect and repair brakes, engines, electricals, steering, transmissions, drivetrains, and tires for tractors, trailers, and refrigeration equipment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, fluid checks, battery tests, and system lubrication, while maintaining strong teamwork and safety standards in a demanding shop environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1-2 years related experience is required.
• ASE/EPA certifications are preferred or required by supervisor.
• CDL Class A is preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs brake systems, engines, electrical components, steering systems, transmissions, drive trains, and tires for tractors, trailers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, battery inspection, lights testing, and lubrication.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with supervisors and team members.
• Receives instructions and executes assigned tasks efficiently.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education

Associate degree or 1-2 years related experience

ASE Certification

EPA 609 Certification

EPA 608 Certification

CDL Class A preferred
