Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking Diesel Mechanic Technicians to keep one of North America's largest transportation fleets safe and reliable.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair brakes, suspensions, electrical and air systems across Class 5–8 trucks and tank trailers in a team-oriented shop. Qualifications

• 1–5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must pass background, MVR, drug screen, and physical due to safety requirements.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Complete truck and trailer inspections and maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems
• Complete truck and trailer inspections
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment

    • Wednesday through Saturday from 12 noon to 10:30pm
    • Sunday to Wednesday 7am to 5:30pm

Requirements

• 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid Driver's License
• Must successfully pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
