Job summary

Miller Transportation Group is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician in Franklin, MA. Join a long-standing family-owned leader with extensive truck maintenance operations across multiple states.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Class 1-8 vehicles, perform preventative maintenance, and work shifts Tue-Fri 9:30–6:00 and Sat 7:00–3:30. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a CDL with the assistance of our trainer.
• Hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures.
• Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches & transmissions.
