Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking Diesel Mechanic Technicians to keep Class 5-8 vehicles and trailers safe and running. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and repairs in a team setting.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5–8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid Driver's License
• Background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination required due to safety-sensitive role
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems
• Complete truck and trailer inspections
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services

• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems
• Complete truck and trailer inspections
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately

Pay Range: 23.00-31.00 per_hour, General Benefits: Benefits include medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage, a 401K program with company match, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity insurance.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid Driver's License
• Must successfully pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
