Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking an entry-level diesel mechanic/technician to perform preventative maintenance and light repairs on Class 6-8 trucks in field settings. Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and light repairs on Class 6-8 trucks.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
• Stay productive and meet industry-standard repair times.
• Collaborate with teammates to support service delivery.

As an Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic/Technician, you’ll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. • Comfortable usingmobile apps, navigationsystemsand digital toolsto stay organized and document repairs.
• Ready for the outdoors– rain or shine at customer yards.

• A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
• Must beat least 20 years old, with a clean driving recordand avalid driver’s license.

Work Environment

• Work in dynamic, high-traffic areas – safety and precision are key.

• Expect exposure to dust, diesel fumes, and noise typical of a shop or yard environment.

• Safely handle chemicals, oils, and grease as part of repair work.

• Be ready to lift, move, and position heavy equipment or components.

• Stay active – you'll bend, kneel, crawl, and crouch to access vehicle components.

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions – rain or shine, our team gets it done.
