Job Responsibilities: What you will do as a Diesel Mechanic

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all company-owned equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and support equipment.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs of all equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble heavy truck and trailer components.
• Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

• Knowledge of vehicle systems and basic maintenance preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent; training and/or experience considered.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to read repair manuals and complete repair tags and orders.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software used on tractors and trailers.
• Computer skills required.
