Job description

Job Description:

We are seeking a mechanic to repair and maintain diesel engine industrial trucks according to dealership and factory specifications. The ideal candidate must have electrical troubleshooting skills and strong computerized electrical system diagnostic capabilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
2. Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
3. Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
4. Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
5. Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
6. Stay updated on manufacturer technical bulletins.
7. Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, returning them in the same condition as received.
8. Understand, stay updated on, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.
9. Operate all tools and equipment safely.
10. Utilize computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
11. Having a CDL is a plus.
12. Own tools required for the job.
13. Be motivated, proactive, focused, and well-organized.
14. Maintain a high level of professionalism.
15. Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience or more.
