United Rentals is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech II) in Charleston, SC to maintain, service and repair rental equipment. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship and customer service as you work with mechanics and the Service Department to support a busy rental fleet.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues and complete required documentation while advancing toward higher-level tech roles within the service organization.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work orders daily.
• Demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment for customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
