WM in Campbellton, FL is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose and repair a diverse fleet with a focus on safety and reliability. The role offers a stable schedule, a Monday–Friday, 12:00 pm–8:30 pm shift, and a shop-based environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Safety checks on vehicles to protect employees and communities.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times.
• Complete project work as assigned.
• Review or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
