Garelick Farms Dairy is expanding and hiring Diesel Mechanics/Reefer Tech to maintain diesel trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. Join a stable company delivering essential dairy products daily in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year diesel mechanic or fleet maintenance experience.
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Refrigeration/Reefer experience preferred (not required).
• CDL class A/B a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and reefer units.
• Repair brakes, steering, suspension, driveline, electrical, and air systems.
• Use diagnostic software and equipment to troubleshoot issues.
• Complete work orders accurately and timely.
• Work safely per DOT, company, and safety regulations.
• Assist and mentor less experienced technicians when needed.
• Support facility maintenance projects as required.

What you’ll do:

• Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of diesel mechanic, fleet maintenance, or related experience
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Refrigeration/Reefer experience is preferred (not required)
• Class A or B CDL is a plus (not required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and walk throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and shop environments
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
• Pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, etc)
