Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Master Level Rebuild Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Benefits and Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $33.00 per hour
- Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
- Sign On Bonus: Ryder Pays You $2000 at 30 days and $2000 at 90 days
- Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, Weekends OFF
- Hours: First Shift 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Vocational or Technical Certification (preferred)
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
- Four or more years of relevant work experience (preferred)
- Valid CDL CLASS A (preferred)
- Other certifications as required by location
Additional Requirements
- Ability to perform all T3 tasks
- Advanced diagnostic and repair skills
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for shift work/weekends/on-call
- ASE Certifications (preferred)
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment
- Minimum tool requirements
- Ability to road test vehicles
- Ability to coach/mentor others
- Must be able to drive Ryder vehicles and obtain CDL within 6 months
- Pass drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check
Responsibilities
- Complete OEM training and courses
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
- Assist roadside breakdowns remotely
- Perform facility maintenance
- Interact with customers and drivers
- Mentor other technicians
- Utilize maintenance documentation and compliance guidelines
